What is a Birth Doula?

 

A birth doula is a trained professional who provides emotional, practical and physical support to women and their families before, during and after birth. Doulas take client’s individual needs and desires into account and provide customized care to the birthing person and their support team. The doula also provides their client with evidenced based, unbiased information so that they can make decisions that are right for their specific situation. A birth doula is essentially your birth coach or birthing best friend who makes it their priority that their clients experience the best birth possible.

• Two prenatal visits

• 24/7 on call availability leading up birth

• 60 minute Prenatal Yoga Class - $60 per session

• Prenatal Nutrition Package - $160 for one hour initial consultation and 30-minute follow up

• Prenatal and Postnatal Nutrition Package - $200 for one hour initial consultation and two

30 minute follow up appointments

• Infant Nutrition Consultation - $160 for 1 1⁄2 hour consultation.

• Additional prenatal or postnatal visits - $60 per hour
