Julia has been living and practicing yoga since 2003. She began exploring yoga as a means of achieving stress relief and acquiring physical health while obtaining her undergraduate degree at Trent University.
Julia's growing love of yoga led to a deepening of her daily practice and a desire to share the gift of yoga with others. In 2008 she completed a 200-hr Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Program led by Loren Crawford and Roxanne Joly (Upward Dog Yoga Centre) becoming a Yoga Alliance Certified Instructor.
Teaching from the heart, Julia's intention is to help students attain physical, mental and spiritual well being.
She encourages students to find joy in their practice while cultivating their sense of self awareness and compassion.
