Basic Balsamic Vinaigrette

A simple and timeless dressing for any salad.

In a small bowl combine the following ingredients:

1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil

1/8 cup balsamic vinegar

1/2 tsp Dijon mustard

1 tsp minced garlic

1 tsp dried basil

salt and pepper to taste
